In 2012 Baskiat released his first single "Wisdom," produced by Flume, to a great reception online and a brief rotation on Triple J. Since then he has matured as an MC, working with more local talents, holding down residency once a month at BRKLYN bar in Manly. 2013 saw Baskiat and his collective, Menace Clique, opening for renowned Aussie acts such as Spit Syndicate, Kerser, Diafrix and Pez.
